"Patriot Cares, Patriot Shares"
Patriot Acura believes that the spirit of giving is a year-round effort. Our Mission is "To Serve", and to help foster a stronger and vibrant community. Every month, we team up with our sister store, Patriot Subaru, and select a grass roots 501c3 organization that works to support Mainers in all kinds of forms. Together we make a donation based on a percentage of sales during the first full week of the month. It can range from specific needs such as food cupboards, shelters, heating assistance, and handicap needs, to community support for arts, bike paths and walking trails, music, green projects and pet programs.
Local non-profits are staffed with individuals, primarily volunteers, who work extremely hard to help others. They offer countless ways with a shared vision to foster the health and stability of those in need, as well as to those who just want to grow and enjoy their neighborhood. We love the term, "Neighbors Helping Neighbors", and we are eager to offer both some financial assistance as well as media exposure.

January 2026: The Summit Project
Patriot Cares, Patriot Shares, a joint program between out two Patriot stores, enters its sixth year highlighting the incredible work of local nonprofits. To date, we've visited over 55 organizations, seeing firsthand the impact they make in our community. Our January 2026 recipient is The Summit Project, a volunteer-driven organization honoring Maine's fallen service members since September 11th, 2001 through a powerful living memorial. Stones donated by families are engraved and carried by volunteers across Maine and around the world, symbolizing the burden shouldered by the fallen and their families. In support of this mission, Patriot Subaru and Patriot Acura will dedicate a percentage of sales during the first week of January to benefit The Summit Project. February 2026: The Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland

For February, Patriot Auto Group partnered with the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland for our "Patriot Cares, Patriot Shares" initiative. Our team rallied behind ARLGP alumni and Puppy Bowl XXII stars, Lobster Roll and Auggie, even meeting the local celebrities at ARLGP's Puppy Bowl watch party. Following an educational tour of the ARLGP facility led by Julie Poulin and Elsa Bertlesman, we gained a deeper appreciation for their Humane Education and Resource programs. Thanks to our community's engagement in our Facebook campaign, we were also proud to donate a few 35 lb bags of dog food to support their mission. https://arlgp.org/
